Gratia Church Meets with Christian Leaders of Kinyanjui College
On Wednesday, Feb 7th, Nairobi Gratia church had a meeting with nearby Kinyanjui Polytechnic College Christian leaders. The students came to Nairobi Gratia church and discussed the plan to raise the strong Christian believers in Kinyanjui school.
They started with meditating the book of Ecclesiastes 9:11 " I returned and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all."
Pastor Fredrick explained "God is giving us the same time and chance. But many times we don't know the preciousness of the time and chance and later we regret", He said "The time to be a student is a great chance to acquire the knowledge, so that later we'll get the fruit of it. But if a student fail to study hard, later he'll gain the fruit of failure." And he further explained with Ecc12:1 "When we are young, we need to remember our creator, this is the most precious thing we can do in our lives"
With this message, the leaders were sharing their reflections. And they shared how they can do the work of God together in this year. Gratia church leaders will visit prayer vigil on Feb 23rd in Kinyanjui school, and they will hold a seminar on 17th Saturday in February or on another available day at Gratia church. After the Seminar, they will also plan outreach mass evangelism(crusade) together. Students will discuss on the date of the Seminar and mass evangelism later and confirm the date.
The topic of the first youth seminar might be on "How we can evangelize other people?". This was because of a student leader was suggesting as they feel that it is not easy to evangelize others.
All the attendees of this meeting received the grace of God through the meeting and message of the time.
They prayed together after the discussion joining the evening prayer meeting. May God continually guide them to work together for His Kingdom, so that young leaders can be raised through it.
